SAP ArchiveLink Interface

RSD Folders for Unix and Windows server platforms includes RSD Global Archive for SAP R/3, certified for SAP ArchiveLink Interface. This scalable enterprise solution facilitates the archiving and management of SAP documents, print lists and data in RSD Folders.

RSD Global Archive for SAP R/3 adds a fundamental component to the SAP business workflow. SAP outgoing or incoming documents (such as scanned images) are archived, automatically classified by SAP definitions and optionally categorized by RSD Folders criteria. From an RSD Folders client interface, authorized users can retrieve SAP and non-SAP documents originating from multiple sources in a variety of formats, either according to SAP criteria or RSD Folders classification, offering a comprehensive view and the total integration of business critical data. RSD Folders indexation allows for meaningful folder and document names, consistent with the user’s specific working practices. The archived documents can also be accessed from a SAP user interface.

This solution guarantees the enterprise enormous savings in storage costs, because of the single archiving of any file.

Based on Java servlet and J2EE technology, RSD Global Archive for SAP R/3 is platform independent. It runs on any Web server, providing an architecture that conforms to the enterprise computing environment.
