component that integrates e-mail with all enterprise business-critical content.
It is designed to empower the enterprise to manage e-mail communications, which
have become a strategic source of information and a major communication channel
for business transactions including contract negotiations, invoicing and inquiries.
Working with RSD Folders™ server, this innovative solution paves the
way for a unique e-mail management system that works with all IMAP compliant
email applications such as Outlook and Notes. Within the e-mail application,
the user simply "drags & drops" an e-mail into an archive folder.
Mail2Folders ensures that the e-mail is archived and available to all users authorized
to view that folder. With rapid implementation, requiring no client installation,
Mail2Folders stores e-mails in a standard RFC 2822 archive format, independent
from e-mail application type. The benefits of this solution are threefold.
By archiving the e-mail in RSD Folders, while preserving the e-mail format,
Mail2Folders ensures that the e-mail is available years later, if needed for
compliance concerns or queries. Like any other enterprise document, enterprise-wide
archive policies are enforced, guaranteeing that e-mails are available for the
required time period.
This RSD solution has a non-proprietary interface providing long-term access
regardless of product changes on the e-mail server and therefore ensuring to
the organization strategic information longevity. Furthermore, the strains on
the e-mail server storage resources are reduced, as e-mails no longer need to
be maintained there.

with all authorized users throughout the enterprise By applying enterprise-wide
