RSD at the Forefront of Technology

RSD was the first in 1998 to introduce a Thin Client version based on Java Applet technology. RSD realizes that the market might not yet be ready to move forward with this latest technology, but we are never the less ready. Through WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), RSD customers will be able to access their documents stored in the RSD document repository through their wireless devices (e.g., cell phones, PDAs, etc.). In keeping with RSD’s theme "The Focus is On You," the WAP feature was designed with the customer in mind. Now mobile users can still access important documents when they do not have access to their PC.

Further, recognizing the need to globally access all corporate data, RSD has developed the RSD Report and Document Management Portal, a highly customizable way to quickly access enterprise-wide documents transparently. The RSD Report and Document Management Portal allows users to access reports and documents stored on EOS or RSD Folders servers running on Unix, NT, Linux and/or OS/390 platforms at different worldwide locations. While the information can also be accessed using our PC clients EOS/PC and RSD Folders/PC.
