Geneva, Switzerland - July 23 - RSD is now delivering updated and more powerful versions of the Enterprise Output Solution (EOS) Thin Client and RSD AFP Plug-In.

About RSD BridgeServer
This component implements the SSL functionality necessary for the safe web deployment of applications. It is a Java application designed to manage data packets between clients and main applications. By masking the main application server address and port, it provides an extra layer of security .
About SSL
SSL (Secure Socket Layer) functionality provides security of data transmission between client and server by allowing mutual authentication, the use of digital signatures for integrity and encryption for privacy.
About Thin Client
This full-featured, self-contained product accesses information in an EOS database. Access is provided via an Internet browser by means of a Java applet or running as a stand-alone application using a Java program. In either case, the product eliminates the need to install and maintain additional software on the PC. It allows instant deployment of information stored on EOS servers to a large user base.
