RSD Global Content Management Solution (GCMS) enables enterprise to perform both seamless Output Management and Content Management operations while leveraging investments in existing SAP solutions. RSD's solution is certified for SAP Netweaver®, including BC-XOM and ArchiveLink certifications. The certifications extend SAP capabilities with results-focused technology designed to capture, organize, archive, manage, protect, and distribute both SAP and non-SAP content, as well as printlists, incoming and outgoing documents.

Content management supporting SAP

SAP solutions generate vast volumes of information. As resources become burdened, system performance is decreased and the overall TCO rises. Archiving historical data reduces the size of the SAP database and frees resources allowing business users access to archived information in ‘real-time’, increasing productivity and reducing TCO.

The RSD Document and Content Management (DCM) solution encompasses components that are SAP-certified for ArchiveLink Interface (BC-AL) and HTTP Content Server Interface (BC-HCS) for SAP R/3. The solution combines the power of SAP with comprehensive content management functionality. The Global Archive component seamlessly links document content, generated from different modules and systems, to business context in SAP solutions. As businesses often need to reuse the same business information, users are able to share business content, no matter where it resides, via an RSD client interface or SAP GUI.

Output Management: delivery of the right content to the right user

The RSD Business Information Delivery (BID) solution includes components that are SAP certified for BC-XOM interfaces for SAP R/3. The solution features fully automated capabilities to push SAP output through multiple distribution channels. Each user receives only the portion of a report they are authorized to view via print, e-mail or Web delivery.  Online viewing enables users to view report sections without report regeneration. For print delivery, content is bundled and sent to the printer using pre-defined instructions. This component manages print requests and offers significant resource savings.
