OverviewRSD's technology agreement with EMC Corporation interfaces RSD Global Content Management Solution (GCMS) with EMC Centera Content Addressed Storage (CAS). EOS (Enterprise Output Solution), a Business Information Delivery component, and RSD Folders, a Document and Content Management component, both integrate seamlessly with EMC's software-driven storage architecture. Extended viewA single point of accessRSD connectors to EMC Centera extend the range of RSD supported storage systems. RSD's solution provides a built-in interface that transparently stores content, captured by an RSD server, in a Centera online archive. The end-user benefits from effortless retrieval of all information necessary for business processes via a Web-enabled RSD Thin Client or a customized enterprise application. A smart combinationRSD Global Content Management Solution enables fast and secure access to business-critical information within an organization. System administrators can flexibly capture any documents or content, in any format, then store it according to the requirements of the enterprise and its environment. The interface to Centera allows RSD products to exploit a storage solution that is widely recognized for its scalability, compliance with industry standards, reduced administration and assurance of content authenticity. It requires no special implementation. Setting just two storage parameters within the RSD product creates the dialog with Centera to automatically store and retrieve business information.
