RSD Global Content Management Solution (GCMS) integrates all enterprise content sources and provides content services to applications and users. Its secure, collaborative environment ensures information delivery independent of the way it is distributed. It facilitates rapid access with index mapping and extensive search facilities, and encourages joint participation in business processes.  From operational infrastructure to business applicationsRSD offering can be flexibly implemented either as a total solution or partially, in order to satisfy specific challenges such as handling information generated by another application. When fully implemented, it provides the enterprise with total control over all its content assets, from archival to rapid retrieval and delivery in a consistent, reliable environment with a significant decrease in operational costs. Business Information Delivery (BID) Business Information Delivery distributes all enterprise content taking into consideration the diversity of individual requirements of delivery , format and method. This Report, Print and Output Management solution encompasses several products such as Enterprise Output Solutions (EOS), Doc2Print and Doc2Mail. Document and Content Management (DCM) Document and Content Management federates content across all enterprise applications. It automates the custom classification of each information asset on one or multiple keys according to its strategic value and business utility. This Document Management and Collaboration solution comprises RSD Folders and Mail2Folders. Enterprise Content Archiving (ECA)Enterprise Content Archiving provides a central repository for all stored content in any format: customer documents, contracts, reports, e-mail, records, images, checks, voice, etc. Access to archived information is performed using indexes stored within RSD products or third party applications. Content Repository Services (CRS) RSD Content Repository Services (CRS) provide connectors to RSD solutions and external applications in order to archive all content as well as ensuring secure access to information. These connectors facilitate the archiving of files, databases, portions of a database, e-mails, transactions and any other electronic data. Compliance and Governance Services (CGS) RSD Compliance and Governance Services (CGS) protect enterprise data and trace its usage over time. When a content asset is initially archived, it is sealed and can be digitally signed. Business information is automatically preserved according to enterprise retention policies or a triggering event. Each time that information is retrieved, verification can be made to ensure the authenticity of the content. Open architectureAn open architecture is a significant factor in lowering implementation costs and ensuring content availability. It is facilitated by the integration and best use of components already existing in the IT environment. RSD Global Content Management Solution operates on z/OS, Unix (AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris), Linux (z/OS, Intel) and Windows server platforms to streamline the integration of data generated in each of these environments. Gateways capture information without compromising the autonomy of source applications and permit the automatic implementation of enterprise standards for content organization. Interfaces to platform-standard market solutions permit the application of rules-based archiving policies for content retention and provide a transparent dialog for automatic storage and retrieval of data.
